Teresa Woolson (VOW) and Jackie Parker of Central Square at the Teen Health Conference.
The VOW Foundation's President Teresa Woolson, along with Sarah Gauger, gave a presentation about the dangers of synthetic drugs at the Teen Health Conference held at Camp Hollis in May. The conference brought together youth from several high schools in the area, along with teachers. Jackie Parker, Health Teacher in the Central Square School District, was the lucky winner of a $25 VISA Gift Card given away by the VOW Foundation at the end of the presentation on synthetic drugs. The audience was very engaging and asked great questions. One high school senior bravely spoke about his personal experiences with the poison landing him in the hospital. Synthetic Drugs are becoming more and more dangerous as the chemical swapping continues and new products are being formulated.
