Gold Sponsor announced for the 2nd Annual Oswego County S.A.F.E. Fair

Mystic Music Entertainment is Gold Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Oswego County S.A.F.E. Fair to be held at the Elks Lodge in Oswego. On Sunday, April 26, 2015, service providers and organizations will gather to provide information to the community about substance abuse, addiction, mental illness/suicide, prevention, treatment and healthy options. In addition to table presentations, exhibitors will speak about their specific services. The Gold Sponsor of the event is Mystic Music Entertainment, providing DJ Music and MC services. Additional sponsors to date include: EJ Construction Group, Inc., Carolyn Rush, Farnham Family Services and the Oswego Elks Lodge. NewsChannel 9 is the Event Media Sponsor. This is a Free family event which will run from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m.

Exhibitors planned include the Upstate Poison Control Center, Oswego County Drug Task Force and District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department with the Operation SafeChild Program, Oswego County Opportunities’ Crisis Intervention Programs, Farnham Family Services, County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addictions, Lifestyles Center at SUNY Oswego, Counseling and Healing Arts of Oswego County, Inc., among others. Partnering with the VOW Foundation for this year’s event is the Coalition to Combat Adolescent Substance Abuse in Oswego County.

Entertainment, in addition to Mystic Music Entertainment, will include carnival-type games, prizes, raffles, food and several contests for youth. This free event is designed to attract all ages of community members and families to learn about important health topics while enjoying a safe, drug and alcohol-free event. The VOW Foundation was formed in 2013 and named in honor of Victor Orlando Woolson who had a fatal reaction to synthetic drugs. VOW’s mission includes educating and advocating about synthetic drugs in Oswego County.
