Great Activities & Participants for the SAFE Fair

Participating in this year's SAFE Fair include some massages, reike, energy healing, Tai Chi and much more. This year you can sample some of the great services from providers such as Angels Light Healing, Mind, Body, Spirit Reike & Beyond, Light of Life Tai Chi & QiGong, Essentially Inspired, Spirit Works, along with Mindfulness activity tables by the New Vision Allied Health Program students including making stress balls, bubbles, breathing sticks, gratitude jar, calming jars, essential oils, mandalas, positive affirmations, zentangles, fidgets for stress, meditation, jewelry chakra and hooping. Have a heart rate variability scan by Canalview Chiropractic, PC, DARE Program information by Officer Grover of the Oswego City Police Department, Driving Simulator with Oswego County STOP-DWI. The Pregnancy Care Center of Oswego will be there along with the Oswego County Health Department, Oswego County Prevention Coalition and YC3, Alcoholics Anonymous, Integrative Counseling Services, In His Strength ministries Inc. and New Justice Conflict Resolution Services Inc. Oswego County Opportunities has many programs represented including SAF, Health Insurance Navigator Program, Migrant Health and OPTIONS. The Central Region Addiction Resource Center, Farnham Family Services, County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addictions (COCOAA), Recovery Services at Farnham, Peer Recovery Services, ARISE, Helio Health and Catholic Charities will all be participating this year. Also, Syracuse VA Medical Suicide Prevention, National Alliance on Mental illness, Nick's Ride 4 Friends, Upstate New York Poison Center and the VOW Foundation will all have information, education and activities at this year's Fair. Free Refreshments will be available. Great raffle baskets will be available, including two tickets to Darien Lake, 4 passes to Wonderworks at Destiny USA, Gift cards and much more. In addition, tickets will be available for $5.00 each for a $1,499 valued HealthWay Home Purifying Unit (Drawing June 1st). Entry Cards will be given out at the door for drawings for tablets - one in each of the 4 age groups. Validation of each entry card is made by visiting at least 10 areas. This ensures education is provided for all entries and a variety of ages are included. This is a Free Family Fun event with something for everyone.
