The purpose of this fair is to support our efforts to help keep people safe, by providing free education and information while offering food, free entertainment, and games/activities for the kids!
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department will be there to help you make safe child ID cards for FREE!
There are many prizes offered via several different drawings (including a BIG special drawing for the children), guaranteed game rewards, as well as several desirable items that will be raffled off by placing tickets in the jar beside the item you want to win. (If you will not be present for the drawing, you may leave your contact information on your ticket).
Get your groove on out on the dance floor or show off your musical skills during karaoke!
Free admission, dinners are $10.00 and games require special tickets (available at a low, reasonable price). Every player wins a prize! Winners prizes may be of greater value than participant prizes. Prizes vary per game. We have received a grant for a large tent outside for games in case of rain which will also provide some nice shade!
SPECIAL RAFFLE PRIZES!!
There will also be several informational tables to visit inside the VFW. Every child who visits at least 4 tables will be entered into a drawing for either an Apple Ipod Touch or an Apple Ipad Mini! Children receive a punch card, acquire one punch from four tables of their choice, enter their required information on the stub (for statistical and contact information), and are entered into the drawing!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN!
Dinner ticket stubs will be entered into several door prize drawings. (You must purchase a dinner to be entered into the door prize drawings). You simply fill out your information on the stub and you will be contacted if you win – you do not need to be present to win a door prize either!
If you are interested in the delicious pulled-pork dinner you can order your tickets pre-sale by contacting The VOW Foundation’s founder, board member and president, Teresa Woolson, at (315) 402-6119. This pre-sale order helps us get an idea of how many dinners we should order.
This fair will be so much fun for people of all ages!
Don’t worry about the music being too loud for the kids to enjoy themselves – games are outside and music is inside.
Don’t have kids and are worried you won’t have anything to do?
Stop in and support our cause by purchasing a dinner while enjoying the free entertainment!
Don’t have any money?
Stop by to hear our story, enjoy some music and walk away knowing that your visit was sincerely appreciated by members of The VOW Foundation, as well as all of Victor Orlando Woolson’s friends and family.
Victor died from a fatal reaction to synthetic drugs. The VOW Foundation was formed and named, using his initials, in his honor. We are determined to get the word out about these dangerous poisons and help prevent more people from having permanent or even fatal reactions from these man-made chemicals sprayed on leaves.
Please spread the word about the S.A.F.E. Fair; we would like to reach as many people as possible.
Don’t miss out on this fun-filled event!
*People of every county are
encouraged to stop by!*
EVENT SPONSORS include:
J&C Knopp Karaoke
Carolyn A. Rush

In addition, the Oswego County Youth Bureau and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services awarded a Mini-Grant for the tent to use for this event!
Thank you all for how much you have done to support our missions:
Raising awareness about synthetic drugs
Helping to make Oswego County a safer community
We have already come so far. Thanks to YOUR help, of course.
Keep up the good work! It means the world to all of us!
