Drug Abuse Resistance Education

Starting with the 2017-19 School Year, the Oswego City School District began the D.A.R.E. Program.  Officer Grover with the Oswego City Police Department is the full-time D.A.R.E. Officer.  You might see him driving in the D.A.R.E. vehicle.

The students in 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade and 7th Grade are learning decision making skills such as Define, Assess, Respond, Evaluate.  The lessons build on the previous grade, deepening the skills being taught.
